ACTIVITIES / PROGRAMME
The following programme were organised during the year under review :
LITERACY RPOGRAM
Our prestigious organisation had conducted various programmes for education awareness of street children. The project management committee had undertaken a survey for street children. Accordingly we have prepare a plan for education for street children After several effort the Govt. could not achieve the target for look out the Beneficiary, we will help the govt. for achieving the above goal. We will provide the education to street children along with vocational training. Our organisation is running educational activities for the needy population and heavy concessions have been given to the poorer sections.
HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE
To promote health awareness and to strengthen the world health organization campaign health for all by 2010 AD established. To provide pathological study cum training to the local students specially belonging to poor middle class who are unable to manage their ward’s education. The people’s of the locality were given the information about the control of population programme, its measures and check. Your organisation with the help of medical professional and para-medical staff conducted this programme door to door. Various method of contraceptive were discussed. Nirodh and other contraceptive were distributed among the people with advice.
ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
A Camp was organized on environmental awareness to make the people aware about how our environment is so important. Many teachers, professors, social workers, and expert of environment control etc. were attended the program.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
A camp organized on women empowerment, in this camp 275 women are awaked. In this camp main subject are anti-dowry, child marriage etc. Resource person came from University Lecturer and Expert in this field. They were also told about their legal right. We also arranged a training prog. for themselves in cutting and sewing. This will help them to be self- employed.
CULTURE PROGRAMME
Voluntary services are also encouraged among youth to help the illiterate people on the occasions they required. Changing in the social evils society organise a cultural show on these evils i.e. anti dowry, child marriage, family planning etc. Local area 2,500 people are enjoying and benefited through this programme. Main focus was on Anti dowry and child marriage and family planning. In village level these thing are very harmful for new generation.
RURAL DEVELOPMENT
As headquarter of organisation, the various integrated programmes for sanitation were carried out. Sanitation of drinking water point, river and shauchhalya were completed. New points of the shauchhalya were identified and fixed with general conscious of resident. Damaged road were repaired with people’s co-operation and limited fund of sanstha.
VOCATIONAL TRAINING
The constant problems that surface during discussions in our meetings are poverty and unemployment. These problems were the main issues that we discussed during the last meeting and a plan was drawn for training and motivation programme for self-reliance. Vocational training programme for women was done on handicrafts items like toy making, painting, card-candle etc. and has been still continuing. It got popularity among the rural women.
ADOLESCENT CAMP
Youths are the strength of nation. Therefore to motivate youth in national spirit and integration is emphasised. A camp was organised, the aforesaid concept. Youths were organised in the camp and various topic from history were discussed. Youths participated in the meeting were, taken the oath for national integrity.
NATIONAL INTEGRATION CAMP
Working towards strengthening our national integrity, a National Integration Camp was organized with the aim that youth could know about the nation. In organizing the program many politicians, freedom fighters and other social workers helped us. Around 550 youth were present at the camp.
POPULARIZATION OF SCIENCE
In this programme working for popularization of science in the vaishali and muzaffarpur district of Bihar. We are also organizing working and seminar for achievement of target of this programme. In this financial year total 6 workshop already organized in different place of district.
ECO-WATER LITERACY CAMP
In this camp every person know about eco-water literacy. People aware about uses and benefit of eco-water. In this programme local area social worker, women, youth, aged person, students are participated. More than 300 people are participated in this programme.
FORMATION OF SHG.
Self Help Groups (SHGs) are usually informal groups whose members have a common perception of need and importance towards collective action. During the financial year 2010-11 we formed seven SHGs and impart training the group leader and team leader for running the same in future. Some beneficiaries benefited through local public in terms of loan and within this year total amount are repaid. A team of worker regularly work under formation of group and run of group. The groups will work for rapid implementation of all the programmes of our organisation. They will also collect the necessary data & information for the organisation.
